Job Description

What we do We''re a B2B SaaS business replacing the spreadsheets, disconnected systems, and manual processes that small and medium-sized manufacturers rely on. Our integrated solution becomes their single system of record for everything. We exist to help them grow their businesses and build better products. Beyond software, we build the physical tools that connect the plant floor to the system. That means sensors, devices, and prototypes that collect real manufacturing data, measure quality, and automate processes in the real world. What youll drive Youre not here to maintain legacy hardware. Youre here to design, build, and iterate on real devices that manufacturers actually use. Working hands-on in our prototype lab, you will: Design and build manufacturing data collection devices and simple automation systems Prototype, test, and iterate on hardware used on real plant floors Design enclosures, fixtures, and mechanical components for production use Develop sensors, camera and vision-based solutions, and IoT-style devices Write software and firmware that integrates hardware directly into our ERP solution Work closely with our software team to connect physical systems to digital workflows Manage small projects from concept through working prototype Travel occasionally within North America to support installs, testing, or customer needs Who you are Must Haves Youre comfortable moving between electronics, mechanical design, and code to solve a problem You enjoy working hands-on in a shop environment and figuring things out as you go SolidWorks (or similar) experience designing parts, enclosures, or assemblies that got built Should Haves Youve built real physical things that actually worked (not just simulations or coursework) Experience designing or integrating sensors, cameras, or simple automation Programming or firmware experience used to control hardware or collect data Nice to Haves PCB design and fabrication experience Experience with vision systems or image-based inspection Personal projects involving robotics, automation, or custom hardware Whats in it for you Full-time access to a prototype lab with 3D printers, CNC laser, woodworking tools, and electronics test equipment The chance to get paid to build the kinds of projects most people only do as hobbies Direct impact on how manufacturers collect data and automate their operations A small, collaborative team where your work ships and gets used The opportunity to work across both software and hardware domains This is a full-time, in-person role based in Collingwood, Ontario. Reliable commuting or relocation to the Collingwood area is required. Some travel within North America is expected. If youre the kind of nerd who already has a 3D printer at home and wants to build real tools that get used in real factories, lets talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
