Overview Casual Bus Driver positions are available throughout the Chinook School Division at multiple locations. Locations Swift Current (Non-Union) 4 positions Consul (Non-Union) 2 positions Eastend (Non-Union) 2 positions Frontier (Non-Union) 3 positions Leader (Non-Union) 3 positions Burstall (Non-Union) 1 position Wymark (Non-Union) 1 position Waldeck (Non-Union) 1 position Success (Non-Union) 2 positions Cabri (Non-Union) 3 positions Responsibilities Casual employees are contacted to work on an as-needed basis. Working casually allows you the flexibility of selecting which locations you work in, and which shifts you choose to accept. Casual employees are important members of our Chinook team and receive competitive wages as well as pension benefits. Please attach a signed SGI Driver Abstract Authorization (found) to your application. Candidates who are successfully shortlisted will be contacted for an interview. Following a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to obtain their S Endorsement. S Endorsement Process Pick up a driver handbook from your local SGI office or the transportation department. Submit a Bus Driver Medical to SGI (you will need to make arrangements with your health care professional to have this document completed). Once the medical is completed and approved, you can book your written exam with SGI. Contact Chinooks Driver Assessor to make arrangements for Chinook Driver Training. Book your road test with SGI. Upon successful completion, submit a copy of your S Endorsement certification to Human Resources.
