Optometrist - Full Time (4 or 5 Day Schedules!) - Full-Scope Care - Medicine Hat, AB Salary: Based on experience. Schedule: Full-time. Licensed new grads and experienced doctors are encouraged to apply! Optometrist owned and optometrist led. You will join a group of ODs that are in the forefront of each decision and we make decisions based on how things are impacting the OD and patients, not the bottom line. There are ownership opportunities available. Lots of our lenses are manufactured in Canada. This is an exciting position for an optometrist who is looking to practice full-scope and have the opportunity to pursue specialties of interest. Why Youll Love This Opportunity Exposure Do what you love OD will practice full scope and a bit of primary care, such as eye exams and retail dispensing. Ninety percent of pretesting is done for the doctors, allowing them the time to build a good relationship with the patients and work with the optician and the dispensary team for successful handoffs. Environment A lovely location In addition to being located in beautiful Medicine Hat, AB, our office has a fantastic team comprised of another OD, tech support, front desk, a practice manager, and our fantastic opticians. Schedule & Benefits Work/Life Balance 34 hours an hour sometimes 35; we are flexible and if you want to see less or more we can accommodate. We do smart bookings where patients are grouped by ages and given more or less time based on that. Competitive pay and benefits We pay a percentage of revenue generated.
