This role provides inoffice support for benefits operations, payroll alignment, and general HR administrative duties. The position requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work with confidential data. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Enter and maintain all HRIS employee data with accuracy and confidentiality. Review the Termination Report weekly and deactivate terminated or laidoff employees in Desjardins; track all changes. Complete the monthly Termination Audit Report to capture and process backdated terminations or layoffs. Update Dayforce benefit elections for new hires and rehires, ensuring correct coverage type (single/family) and dependent details. Mirror all changes in the Desjardins portal. Review employee changes such as terminations, STD/LTD, WCB leaves, and work assignment changes. Ensure all information is accurate and consistent across Dayforce and Desjardins. Identify Field employees reaching 500 hours and enroll them in the appropriate volume benefits. Update Dayforce elections and dependent details as required. Liaise with Payroll and Benefits for payroll processing needs. Work with Payroll to resolve discrepancies. Complete the Benefit Payroll Deduction Report to ensure employer and employee deductions match amounts payable to Desjardins. Follow up directly with employees for missing payments; terminate benefits if unresolved. Review the Coverage Report and notify employees of dependent changes. Qualifications Diploma in any discipline (HR or Business asset but not required). 13 years of HR, Benefits, Payroll, or administrative experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Dayforce experience preferred but not required. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. Strong communication and organizational skills. High accuracy in data entry. Time management and ability to meet recurring deadlines. Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities. Collaboration with Payroll, and HR teams.
