Votre impact Ce poste d''expert en sinistres automobiles commerciaux (premire partie) consiste traiter diffrents types de sinistres de dommages matriels courants, notamment les rparations de vhicules, les pertes totales, la subrogation et la dtermination des responsabilits, les sinistres DCPD et les sinistres hors province. Le candidat retenu devra se conformer toutes les directives oprationnelles et aux meilleures pratiques. Cela comprendrait la dtermination de la couverture, la rdaction des lettres de rserve de droits et de refus, la participation aux mdiations et aux confrences de rglement, ainsi que la coordination des experts et avocats indpendants pour la ngociation et le rglement des sinistres. Les sinistres se situent principalement au Canada, avec une incidence limite l''international. Objectifs en matire de rendement Examer les demandes dindemnisation dassurance automobile commerciale en fonction du libell de la police afin de dterminer la protection prvue par la garantie. Donner des directives aux experts en sinistres indpendants sur les enqutes lies aux sinistres. Prparer des lettres de renonciation ou de rserve de droits et les faire suivre aux souscripteurs, aux courtiers et aux assurs, le cas chant. Fournir des directives aux conseillers juridiques afin de dterminer le rglement adquat des sinistres. Veiller ce que les conseillers juridiques se conforment nos lignes directrices en matire de litiges. Participer des confrences de mdiation ou de rglement, ainsi qu des audiences prliminaires afin de rgler les sinistres. Ngocier directement les rglements lorsque cela est possible. Effectuer le versement des indemnits dans les dlais prescrits. Exercer ses fonctions en respectant nos lignes directrices en matire de pratiques exemplaires, notamment en ce qui concerne lexamen des provisions, les notes, les demandes dindemnisation et le journal lectronique. Informer la direction de toute plainte, de tout sinistre important, de tout problme li la protection, etc. Entretenir de bons rapports et des relations de travail troites avec les partenaires commerciaux, notamment les souscripteurs, les courtiers, les assurs et les fournisseurs de services dindemnisation. Se tenir au courant des dveloppements juridiques qui touchent le domaine de lassurance en gnral, ainsi que ceux qui touchent particulirement les sinistres dassurance automobile commerciaux. What youll need to succeed Minimum 2 years of experience or knowledge in handling commercial auto claims is an asset. College/University or equivalent industry experience. Ability to make decisions and give directions to counsel and/or adjusters. Strong negotiating skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced busy team environment. Ability to manage workload effectively and efficiently. Enrollment or willingness to obtain CIP designation is an asset. Proficient computer skills to navigate paperless claim file system. Ready to take your career to the next level? For positions based in Ontario, the base salary range is $55,444 - $69,306 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
