This position is responsible for answering phones, responding to public inquiries, and assisting with the administration of by-law enforcement and short-term accommodation programs. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide front-line customer service by answering incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries Respond to and direct by-law and short-term accommodation inquiries to appropriate staff Receive, log, and route complaints and service requests Assist with residential parking permits Assist with data entry and record maintenance in municipal software systems Support administration of the Short-Term Accommodation licensing program Prepare correspondence and standard responses Perform filing, scanning, and document management Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Provide general administrative support as required Performs other duties as required. What you will need: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Experience answering phones and working with the public Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of municipal government or regulatory environments is an asset What we offer: This is a summer seasonal opportunity for a new position at the Town.
