Your Opportunity Advancement Services at DUA is responsible for finance and administration, facilities and space management, knowledge management, human resources, alumni and donor services and information management. With the breadth of services we deliver, our team is comprised of individuals with a broad range of knowledge and experience. We hire outstanding people from a variety of backgrounds and currently seek an Alumni Donor Services Representative to join our diverse group of talent. Under direction from the Associate Director, Alumni and Donor Services, the incumbent provides a superior level of alumni and donor relations service supportby responding to a high volume of inquiries and concerns from donors, alumni, faculty and staff; and carriage to resolution any complaints that are received ensuring a satisfactory outcome, referring complex cases to the appropriate subject matter experts. In support of the Donations Management team, the incumbent will contact external stakeholders in order to resolve donor concerns and/or discrepancies, drafts correspondence pertaining to donor services, drafts and revises process documents for reference and training, as well as deliver training to DUA and divisional colleagues in ARBOR interpretation, reporting, processes and guidelines. In this role, the incumbent will support tracking and monitoring donations, including accepting donations and following up on existing gifts by phone. Your Responsibilities Will Include Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required Liaising with various stakeholders to foster collaboration Updating and maintaining records Tracking and monitoring donations received against donations pledged Verifying the accuracy and completeness of information Generating reports Serving as a resource to others by providing (non-supervisory) administrative guidance Essential Qualifications Bachelor''s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience. Minimum three (3) years relevant experience in administration. Experience in financial procedures, biographic data and processes with respect to charitable donations. Prior customer service experience in a professional setting. High level of computer aptitude and accuracy to include MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, internet, and ARBOR required. Knowledge of Blackbaud or equivalent donations management software familiarity. Knowledge of CRA guidelines and federal and provincial privacy legislation. Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment, tact and discretion in the performance of the job functions where an emphasis on the confidentiality ofthe information used in the performance of these duties is essential. Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of information. Strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate professionalism and tactfulness. Assets (Nonessential) General administrative accounting background preferred. Familiarity with the University''s policies, structure and systems an asset. Knowledge of Sharepoint an asset.
