In this key position you will be responsible for driving new business by connecting with new users and prospects, communicating the value of our platform and brand. This role will also lead onboarding and initial workflow configuration so customers achieve value quickly. The VP of Sales will use strategic communication to showcase how our platform automates document workflows, solves critical operational problems, and integrates easily into customer environments. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, including targeted outbound efforts to ideal customer profiles. Proactively engage trial users with clear value realization plans to convert them into paying customers. Have strong domain expertise and existing relationships for clients within industries which have strong back office use cases such as: Financial Services - KYC, AML, Verifications, Lending, Disputes, Accounts Payable Transport & Logistics - POD Capture, Bill of Lading, Damage Claims, Carrier & Driver Payout Processing Utilities & Energy - Bill Ingestion/Validation, Claims, FNOL, Invoice Processing Healthcare - Claims Processing, Onboarding & Verifications, EOBs, Payment Processing Accurately record notes, stages, and sales forecasts within the CRM system. Deeply understand customer document workflows across different operational environments. Accelerate platform deployment by providing expert technical guidance on implementation. Configure onboarding workflows, fields, and integrations to ensure customers achieve adoption milestones on schedule. Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and leverage AI/automation tools to identify high-value prospects, develop effective engagement tactics, and finalize commercial agreements. Support the Product team by offering real customer use case feedback and collaborating to enhance onboarding workflows through automation and AI. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to comfortably adopt and utilize AI tools in daily tasks. Post-secondary degree or certificate in a related discipline. Minimum 7 years of sales experience, including roles such as Account Executive with closing responsibilities, technical onboarding, or customer success. Call center, start-up, or scale-up experience is a plus. Proven track record of generating opportunities, acquiring new clients, and converting trials to paid customers. Confident running discovery calls and unscripted live demonstrations, skilled at diagnosing issues and guiding customers to achieve initial value quickly. Comfortable discussing software workflows, high-level APIs, and guiding complex integrations. Familiarity with technical terminology (APIs, CSV, JSON) and basic data handling is preferred. Able to identify repeatable patterns and drive continuous improvement in onboarding processes, leveraging AI as appropriate. Daily proficiency with AI tools and strong documentation habits are essential. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a diverse sales team and with internal stakeholders. Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels, including executive and C-level.
