The Heavy Duty Mechanic will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, replacing or repairing worn-out components, and ensuring machinery meets safety and operational standards. The mechanic will also maintain accurate service records and work collaboratively with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime. Qualifications Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance Strong skills in Equipment Repair and handling Heavy Equipment Experience with mechanical Troubleshooting of machinery and vehicles Solid understanding of safety protocols and best practices in equipment repair Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints is a plus Certification as a Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent is preferred Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
