The Opportunity Were hiring a Commercial Credit Analyst / Underwriter to support our Commercial division and work directly with one of our Vice Presidents of Commercial Lending. If youre detailoriented, comfortable with numbers, and ready to contribute to real estate transactions worth millions, this role offers a fastpaced environment with big potential for growth. What Youll Be Doing Financial Analysis & Underwriting Build financial models and cash flow projections Analyze borrower statements, property income, and lease terms Underwrite files for conventional and CMHCbacked loans Review thirdparty documents (appraisals, rent rolls, legal docs) Deal Execution & Collaboration Coordinate with brokers, lenders, lawyers, and consultants Track project funding, ensure compliance, and support due diligence Prepare memos, organize documentation, and support closings Who You Are 2+ years of experience in commercial credit or real estate underwriting Strong analytical and Excel skills Familiarity with financial metrics like DSC, LTV, LTC, and ROI Bonus: Exposure to construction financing or real estate development A degree or diploma in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related fields Compensation & Growth Path Base Salary: Based on experience Bonus Structure: Performancebased, paid semiannually Career Path: Grow into senior analyst, deal manager, or origination roles Why Join Legacy?
