About the Opportunity This role is an excellent fit for someone with several years of public practice experience and a strong background in Canadian private company tax. Youll oversee tax compliance and planning engagements, collaborate directly with partners and managers, and provide guidance to junior staff. The position also offers exposure to reorganizations and advisory projects, making it ideal for accountants who want to strengthen their technical expertise while growing into a leadership role. About the Position Reporting to Managers and Partners, responsibilities will include: Reviewing complex tax compliance, including corporate and personal tax returns and election forms Preparing tax research, technical memos, and correspondence for clients and tax authorities Leading client engagements and identifying planning opportunities Coaching and developing junior staff on taxrelated matters Contributing to client relationship management and supporting business development opportunities The Requirements CPA designation (completed) Enrollment in or completion of the CPA InDepth Tax Program 4+ years of public practice experience, including at least 2 years in Canadian private company tax Strong technical background in tax compliance and planning Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines Compensation Salary range: $100,000 $130,000 (commensurate with experience) Paid overtime Comprehensive health and dental benefits CPA dues and professional development support covered Flexible hybrid work arrangements 4day summer work weeks and wellness days Clear opportunities for career advancement within the firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
