Registered Psychotherapist (Mens Therapy) Anchored Therapy Centre is a trauma-informed and client-centred therapy practice with two prime locations: one in Milton/Georgetown on Steeles Ave and another in Mississauga on Derry Rd and Millcreek Drive. We offer counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and couples in various areas of mental health. Role Description We are seeking a passionate and qualified psychotherapist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This is a part-time hybrid role. The Psychotherapist will meet with clients for individual, family, and couples therapy, conduct counselling sessions, and develop treatment plans. Your role will involve working with various clinical issues, including trauma, LGBTQ issues, addictions, PTSD, couples therapy, and children's therapy. This role offers the opportunity to work in both inperson and virtual settings, providing therapy to a diverse range of clients. (This is a Hybrid Role. Must be willing to provide inperson evening sessions at our Mississauga clinic office - 5pm11pm and some mornings) Qualifications A graduate degree in psychotherapy/counselling psychology or a related field. Registration with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or The Ontario College Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Malpractice and liability insurance. Experience working with children, trauma, LGBTQ, addictions, and relationship issues. Training and proficiency in EFFT, EFCT, EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, and IFS. MUST be willing or trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Externship! Being trained and certified in EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, and/or Bio/neurofeedback is highly favourable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work in both inperson and virtual settings. Reliable transportation for inperson sessions. Ability to effectively manage time and caseload. Experience in traumainformed care and traumaspecific interventions. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments and treatment planning for clients. Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, children, families, and couples. Maintain thorough and accurate client records. Employ evidencebased therapeutic modalities. Stay uptodate with best practices and professional development. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, when necessary. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
