Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic ally for the divisions under their responsibility. Their mandate is to align HR strategies and policies with the organizations business objectives. As a trusted advisor, they support senior management and managers in resolving complex human capital issues. They play a key role in promoting organizational culture while ensuring rigorous management of legal compliance and best practices in human resources. Key Responsibilities Business Alignment : Understand the operational challenges of client divisions to propose creative and tailored HR solutions. Management Coaching : Support managers in their leadership role, particularly in change management, employee engagement, and leadership. Workforce Planning : Collaborate on future workforce planning and succession strategies. Talent Management and Performance Performance Cycle : Lead the annual performance review process and support managers in setting measurable objectives. Skills Development : Identify training needs and collaborate on the implementation of professional development programs. Strategic Recruitment : Support the talent acquisition team for critical and leadership positions. Workplace Relations and Occupational Health and Safety Work Environment : Act as a mediator in conflict resolution and conduct internal investigations when necessary. Legislative Compliance : Ensure compliance with Quebec laws (Labour Standards Act, Charter of the French Language, Bill 25 on the Protection of Personal Information). Health and Safety : Collaborate in the management of prevention mutual insurance files, workplace accident files (CNESST), and promote a culture of prevention. Compensation and Benefits Pay Equity : Ensure pay equity is maintained and advise managers during annual salary reviews. Benefits Management : Answer complex questions related to group insurance plans and pension funds. Qualifications and Skills Required Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field. A graduate degree (MSc or MBA) is an asset. Membership in good standing with the Ordre des CRHA/CRIS is an asset. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of HR experience, including at least 3 to 5 years in a Business Partner (HRP) role. Sound knowledge of Quebec labour laws. Excellent ability to analyze HR data (performance indicators, turnover, etc.). Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and collaborative tools. Active participation in an implementation is an asset. Bilingualism: Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written French and English. Location: Ville Saint-Laurent Interested?
