About the position BGC Niagara is currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Programs and Quality Assurance Manager at the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara. The Programs and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and accountability across assigned programs, quality assurance initiatives, and grantfunded projects. Full Time Salaried Position (35-44 hours per week); Compensation range: $54,502.50 - $58,402.50 annually (commensurate with experience); In addition to the base wage, the Programs and Quality Assurance Manager will receive a $2 per hour wage enhancement. This role also includes mileage reimbursement for approved travel. Qualifications College and University Diploma/Degree in: Early Childhood Education Child and Youth Care/Worker Recreation and Leisure Ontario Teachers College Other acceptable postsecondary equivalent Minimum of three years experience in a leadership role supervising/managing child and youth programs. Current Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance Valid only if obtained within 6 months or less. Immunizations Records. Standard First Aid/CPR C. Food Handlers (can obtain during employment). High Five (can obtain during employment). Drivers License and access to a personal vehicle. Duties and Responsibilities The role is structured across three core areas of responsibility: 1. Ontario After School Program Oversight (Port Colborne & Thorold): Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the Ontario After School Program in Port Colborne and Thorold, including any assigned satellite programs. Responsibilities include ensuring programs are delivered in accordance with organizational standards, funder, and applicable legislation; supporting staffing, scheduling, and registration processes; monitoring enrollment, attendance, and performance; and addressing operational or compliance issues in collaboration with the Programs Director. 2. Program Quality Assurance & Accreditation: Lead the organizations quality assurance efforts for assigned programs, including conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with BGC Niagara policies, governing body standards, and legislative requirements. Provide oversight of the organizations Learning and Impact work, and HIGH FIVE Accredited Organization status, including coordination of training, evaluations, audits, and verification processes. Support continuous quality improvement by identifying gaps, recommending corrective actions, and monitoring outcomes. 3. Grant Application, Implementation & Reporting: Manage the application, implementation, and reporting requirements for BGC Canada grants and other funding sources as assigned. Ensure grant deliverables are implemented as approved, financial and participation data are accurately tracked, and reporting obligations are completed on time.
