Your Opportunity Our Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops offices are looking for a Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities: Review assurance and nonassurance engagements for private or NPO organisations to ensure relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance and nonassurance engagements Assurance & Accounting projects may include preparation of financial statements, due diligence procedures, services related to capital raising, and involvement in tax services provided to assurance and nonassurance clients Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using strong technical skills and accounting experience Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the clients business How do we define success for your role?
