What Youll Do The Product Specialist will collaborate with the Low Voltage Distribution Assemblies (LVDA) marketing team (panelboards, switchboards, and automatic transfer switches) to support the development of the Bidmanager configurator tool. The primary responsibilities include creating and maintaining existing assembly take-offs within Bidmanager, providing technical support, and developing new take-offs for upcoming product launches. Responsibilities and Technical Insight Product Development and Technical Insight: Support cross-functional efforts related to LVDA product development, leveraging engineering and supply chain teams to drive timely completion of new product launches. Define technical requirements for panelboard, switchboard and automatic transfer switches (ATS) take-offs. Collect valuable technical insight nationally to ensure different design nuances of each region are covered within the Bidmanager tool. Provide technical content for value proposition creation and value selling tools through in-depth knowledge of customers, market segments served and associated industry trends. Contribute to new product development specification efforts and reviews as appropriate to support the PROLaunch Process. Customer, Sales and Stakeholder Support Customer, Sales and Stakeholder Support: Serve as the main point of contact for Eaton sales teams, EatonCare, and all customers (external & internal) on any Bidmanager issues related to panelboards, switchboards and ATS. Manage and support day-to-day customer and tactical activity as needed (order expedites, custom quotations, supporting warranty issues, etc.) to maximize on-time delivery & customer satisfaction. Lead the development of supporting marketing collateral, including presentations, price lists, application guides, product aids, new product launch materials, electronic sales tools, and catalogs. Training and Process Accuracy Training and Process Accuracy: Coordinate with the plant to help improve bill of materials produced by Bidmanager to ensure they are accurate before order entry. Establish customer and sales force expectations of product launch timing while providing new product launch Bidmanager training. Strategic Growth Initiatives Strategic Growth Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and profit plan objectives within the LVDA team to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
