This role provides the opportunity to work closely with hospital and healthcare leaders, guiding organizations through complex change to achieve safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to highimpact planning, and serve as a trusted advisor during all phases of capital, activation, and transformation projects. Your Key Responsibilities Lead operational readiness and transition planning for multisite, multiphase hospital redevelopment projects, including workflow redesign, readiness assessments, simulation planning, and activation preparation. Assess clinical and operational impacts of construction, renovation, and activation activities; identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; and develop actionable mitigation strategies. Develop highquality reports, tools, dashboards, and governance structures that support decisionmaking and project oversight. Engage and collaborate with clinical and nonclinical leaders, project sponsors, redevelopment teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project impacts. Facilitate working groups and planning sessions, providing coaching and mentorship to strengthen organizational readiness and resilience. Apply advanced project management methodologies to support planning, execution, monitoring, and documentation across complex redevelopment initiatives. Oversee interdependencies across IT, clinical operations, facilities, and support services to ensure seamless integration of new systems, workflows, and technologies. Provide expert advice on crisis management, contingency planning, and operational risk reduction during periods of disruption. Prepare concise written reports and deliver presentations to client teams, ensuring clarity, insight, and valueadded recommendations. Your Capabilities and Credentials Strategic, systemslevel thinker with strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Deep healthcare operational knowledge with the ability to identify options, alternatives, and solutions that support client objectives. Experienced in stakeholder engagement, change leadership, conflict resolution, and coaching. Innovative, adaptable, and detailoriented, able to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in fastpaced environments. Proficient in MS Office, including advanced use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Comfortable working in a mobile, multisite environment with flexibility for travel and extended hours as required. Education and Experience Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitals, including oversight of clinical or clinical support services. Demonstrated Directorlevel experience in operational readiness for brownfield and greenfield redevelopment projects. Proven success leading large, complex, multiyear redevelopment initiatives involving IT integration, workflow redesign, and operational transformation. Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation; Lean certification an asset. Current registration with a clinical regulatory body if applicable (e.g., CNO, CMRITO, CPSO). Experience with simulationbased readiness planning, digital health implementation, or clinical informatics is an asset. Valid drivers license and comfort working across office and client sites.
