Position Summary Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. The role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pretrip and posttrip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination. We are looking for talented, dedicated Class1 Truck Drivers to join our fleet. Schedule Varies. Looking for weekday/weekend/night/open availability. Regional/Local Deliveries. 23 nights out (could vary). Competitive pay per mile and hourly rate. Location: Edmonton, Alberta Schedule: Varies What you will do Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods. Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured. Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport. What Youll Bring Valid Class1/AZ License is required. Clean 5year commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events). Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfortable with smartphone technology. Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors. Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations. Flatbed experience an asset. Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
