About The Role This role supports our businesses through change, growth, and transformation. Youll track performance across our portfolio, uncover opportunities, and help execute strategies that deliver measurable results. Youll also play a key role in our M&A efforts, a cornerstone of our growth strategy, by analyzing opportunities, supporting due diligence, and helping new businesses integrate successfully. The position is based in our Toronto office but involves frequent travel and onsite presence at our North American businesses, up to 50% or more once fully trained. This role is flexible and dynamic, and no job description could capture everything it will involve over time. From real estate optimization one day, to organizational restructuring the next, every day at Canerector brings a new challenge. Heres how this role will help us solve them: Business Process Analysis & Improvement Analyze and map company processes to identify areas for improvement. Build strategic plans to improve business processes. Create tools and support infrastructure to drive better business operation, such as data tracking capabilities for sales, estimating production, etc. Support ERP implementation and elevation of the business through use of the new ERP. Lead, train and support the execution of these change initiatives which could be in any area of the business including sales, purchasing, estimating, production, finance or general management. Critical Business Gap Coverage Step in for critical personnel at our companies when vacancies arise during restructuring or business transitions. Train and support company teams on various functions or strategic initiatives. Conduct financial analysis and monitoring across our organization so that head office has a complete and accurate picture of performance at all businesses. Perform deepdived financial analyses to identify efficiency, cost and growth opportunities and support the buildout of improvement plans. Analyze conventional financial data and any other form of relevant data that would support the development of actionable insights to improvement plans. Acquisitions Support Assist with site visits and analysis for prospective M&A targets. Help our due diligence and deal closing process. Support the integration and onboarding of newly acquired businesses. Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering, business, management, operations, finance or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, consulting or a related discipline.
