Role Description This is a full-time on-site position located in Collingwood, ON, for the role of Cost Accountant. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for preparing cost reports, analyzing financial data, preparing journal entries, managing cost accounting systems, and ensuring accurate financial statements. They will collaborate with various teams to maintain financial accuracy, control costs, and support decision-making within the company. Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Accounting and related methodologies Strong understanding and experience in preparing Financial Statements Exceptional Analytical Skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights Experience with performing Journal Entries and other accounting functions Solid knowledge of Finance principles and practices Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation is an asset) Familiarity with accounting software and advanced skills in Excel Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
