Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Shop Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, experience in quality management, and proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers. Duties Conduct thorough quality inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers to perform precise measurements during quality control processes. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to identify trends and areas for improvement. Assist in implementing quality management systems and support QA/QC procedures across production lines. Perform routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process, documenting findings accurately for review. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing detailed analysis and feedback on product quality issues. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot quality concerns and recommend corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspections, measurements, and analysis data for audit purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control or inspection. Strong understanding of quality management principles, QA/QC procedures, and quality assurance practices. Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and other inspection instruments. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify root causes of issues. Experience in data collection, documentation, and reporting related to product quality. Knowledge of industry standards for quality inspection and control processes. Ability to work independently with attention to detail while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
