Childcare worker to work part time in a French licensed daycare centre with children 0-12yrs. Salary ranges based on applicable childcare related experience and working knowledge of the French language is a must. Fluency is an asset. Duties: Be engaging throughout the day while also ensuring the safety of the children in your classroom. Guide and assist children with eating, dressing and toileting routines (including toileting and diapering infants and toddlers) Communicate with parents and maintain positive and professional relationships. Submit written observations to early childhood educators or management and prepare daily reports as needed. Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and nap time. Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of each child.
