Continuing our growth trajectory from startup days, EarthLabs is excited to expand its team and is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to join us. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Production Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of EarthLabs'' video and studio productions. This role focuses on scheduling, logistics, documentation, and cross-team coordination to ensure productions run smoothly from pre-production through post-production. Working closely with internal teams and production stakeholders, the Production Coordinator helps keep the studio operating reliably, support timely editing and delivery of content, and ensure projects remain organized, on track, and aligned with established worflows, brand standards and timelines. This is a permanent, in-office position based in Toronto, Ontario. WE WILL TRUST YOU TO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES) Production Coordination & Continuity: Coordinate day-to-day studio and production operations to support reliable delivery of video content on time and to a high standard. Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate production schedules, studio calendars, equipment availability, and internal resources across multiple shows and events. Studio & Filing Support: Support studio and on-location productions, including assisting with or conducting filming as required, in line with production standards. Team & Resource Coordination: Coordinate production and post-production staffing schedules, onboarding support, and coverage to maintain continuity across projects. Post-Production & Delivery Coordinator: Track post-production timelines and deliverables, support editorial handoffs, and help ensure final outputs meet deadlines. Publishing & Platform Delivery: Coordinate preparation and publishing of video content across social and digital platforms, ensuring technical accuracy, brand alignment and platform requirements are met. Workflow & Technical Support: Support improvements to production workflows, equipment use, and techniques to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Events Production Support: Coordinate production support for live and special events, ensuring alignment with studio workflows and standards. Stay Updated: Stay current with production tools, studio workflows, platform requirements, and industry best practices to support efficient, reliable, and high-quality production operations. Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional ad hoc assignments and duties as assigned YOU WILL NEED TO BE/BRING (QUALIFICATIONS) Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in video, studio, or digital media production, ideally in a production coordination or operations-focused role. Education: Post-secondary in media production, communications, broadcasting, or a related field is an asset. Production Knowledge: Solid understanding of production workflows, including pre-production planning, studio or on location shoots, and post-production processes. Organizational & Time Management Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail and deadlines. Interpersonal Communication: Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, talent, and production stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Technical Familiarity: Working knowledge of video production environments and post-production workflows. Tools & Software: Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, digital publishing platforms, and project management or scheduling tools such as Trello is an asset.
