Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and other body components using hand tools and power tools Assess vehicle damage and develop appropriate repair strategies Perform sanding, grinding, welding, and painting as needed to restore vehicle appearance Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with vehicle structures and systems Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move large parts or vehicles Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes Skills Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle structures and systems Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience with automotive repair processes including welding, sanding, and painting is desirable Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment This position offers an opportunity for growth within a professional automotive service environment.
