Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated UCP (Unlicensed Care Provider) to join our team. The UCP will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, focusing on home care and senior care services. The role involves providing personalized care to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring dementia care in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving clients'' quality of life through attentive and respectful caregiving. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate documentation Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members Assist with transportation to appointments or errands as needed Follow all safety protocols and care plans to ensure client safety at all times Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration and basic caregiving skills required Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends may be required Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need by providing compassionate, professional care tailored to each individual''s needs.
