Responsibilities Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate wiring and system layouts. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct basic testing with equipment like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues under supervision. Participate in construction activities including framing carpentry related to electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols. Experience No prior professional experience required; however, candidates with some exposure to construction site work or electrical projects are preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic electrical concepts is advantageous. Experience working with low voltage or high voltage systems will be considered a plus. Construction site experience helps demonstrate your ability to work in active environments safely and efficiently. A strong interest in learning about industrial and commercial electrical systems is essential for success in this apprenticeship.
