Position Overview got mold? is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assessing both residential and commercial properties to evaluate indoor air quality through visual inspections, air sampling, and the use of specialized testing instruments. The successful candidate will support remediation planning by identifying environmental and building-related concerns across a variety of property types. Key Responsibilities Conduct indoor air quality assessments in residential and commercial properties Collect air and surface samples using industry-standard instruments and methodologies Perform detailed visual inspections for mold, moisture intrusion, and building deficiencies Assess building envelope, ventilation, and moisture-related conditions Document findings clearly and accurately, including photographs, notes, and observations Provide a complete overview of each property, identifying contributing factors and risk areas Follow established testing protocols, safety requirements, and company procedures Communicate professionally with homeowners, facility managers, clients, and internal teams Travel to project locations as required (projects are not always localized) Qualifications & Experience Experience in indoor air quality testing, environmental assessments, or related fields preferred Construction, restoration, or building science knowledge is a strong asset Ability to identify structural, moisture, and ventilation issues in both residential and commercial settings Strong organizational and documentation skills Comfortable working independently and managing variable daily schedules Valid driver''s license and ability to travel for work Professional appearance and conduct when representing the company Additional Assets (Not Required) Experience with mold, asbestos, or hazardous material assessments Familiarity with sampling equipment, pumps, and laboratory submission processes Background in construction, environmental services, or restoration industries What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Training and ongoing support Exposure to a wide range of residential and commercial projects A safety-focused and professional work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Work Location: In person
