The Marble Factory is seeking a full-time bathroom renovator/installer. We are a progressive cultured marble manufacturer that has been in business in Calgary for over 40 years. We manufacture and install vanity tops, shower bases, wall panels, and bathtubs made from a natural stone filler and polyester resin mixture. This position encompasses: demolition, carpentry/framing, drywall install and repairs, mud/taping, painting, some electrical, and basic plumbing related to renovating residential bathrooms. Carrying and installing heavy items such as marble shower panels, bathtubs, vanity tops and shower bases. Qualifications and requirements: Valid driver''s license and clean abstract, able to drive a cube van Experience with renovation tasks, such as plumbing, caulking and silicone, electrical, and demolition Knowledge of and experience with pre-assembled cabinets is an asset Able to use tools and read measurements Be able to clearly communicate with clients, contractors, and fellow staff Fluent English Physically fit (kneeling, bending, crouching, heavy lifting) Punctual, responsible, and able to work well on own or with others Ability to stay on task and keep renovations on schedule Excel at problem solving, decision making, reading measurements, interpreting shop drawings Clean criminal record Personal hygiene is important as you will be entering our clients'' homes and representing The Marble Factory Training for our specific product and glass installation will be provided. Shop truck, tools, materials, and safety equipment also provided. Must have own steel-toed boots. Must live in or around Calgary and have your own transportation.
