Overview Souris Valley Industries, a premium supplier of precast concrete in Saskatchewan, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in precast concrete, or have a willingness to learn. This role blends client relationship management, technical product knowledge, and project management execution. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. The position is suitable for individuals who are passionate about sales, customer service, quality products and achieving targets. Responsibilities Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services Maintain knowledge of precast products Present product features and benefits clearly to clients, addressing any questions or concerns, adhering to regulatory requirements Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other outreach methods Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions Collaborate with drafting, engineering, production and shipping teams to ensure timely deliver Manage high pressure, dynamic situations with sound judgement and professionalism Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings to effectively position our solutions in the marketplace Qualifications Education or experience in precast concrete or construction management is an asset 3+ years proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a goal-oriented environment Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward reaching sales objectives Basic computer skills including familiarity with software or similar tools are advantageous A positive attitude, and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role Occasional travel requiring a valid drivers license Wage Determined by experience and qualifications. This position includes eligibility for benefits, profit sharing and performance-based bonuses.
