Postdoctoral Fellow, Proteomics / Oral Microbiology Postdoctoral Fellow Position Proteomics / Oral Microbiology The Siqueira Research Laboratory invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in proteomics and/or oral microbiology/microbiology. This position is ideal for a highly motivated researcher seeking advanced training while developing an independent research profile. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be mentored by the supervisor while operating with a high level of scientific independence, leading projects, publishing in high-impact journals, and contributing to grant development. The goal of this position is to accelerate the fellow''s transition to an independent career in academia or industry. This is a one-year contract; may end at six months dependent on funding. Key Responsibilities Design and lead independent research projects in proteomics and/or oral microbiology Apply advanced analytical, molecular, and microbiological techniques Publish original research and contribute to grant applications Mentor graduate and undergraduate trainees Collaborate within interdisciplinary research teams Qualifications PhD in Proteomics, Microbiology, Oral Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field Strong publication record and demonstrated research independence Experience with mass spectrometry, bioinformatics, microbial models, or oral systems is an asset Excellent communication and organizational skills Environment and Professional Development The laboratory is well funded through provincial, national, and international research grants and offers a highly collaborative environment with access to state-of-the-art infrastructure.
