Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team in providing exceptional patient care and ensure smooth daily operations. Prior experience with dental software such as Dentrix will be highly valued. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort Maintain infection control standards Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and managing patient files Ensure the dental office remains organized, clean, and fully stocked with supplies Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix for record management Experience with surgical procedures and endodontic dentistry is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care Ability to assist with dental assisting tasks such as instrument transfer and chairside support Familiarity with CAD technology for imaging purposes is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting is advantageous This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within the dental field for candidates eager to develop their clinical skills while delivering compassionate patient care.
