Based in Toronto, the Human Resources Manager partners with senior leadership to ensure the human resources practices are well aligned to the short- and long-term strategic needs of the business. They will act as a coach to leaders to build their overall leadership capabilities in support of building an engaging inclusive culture. They partner with human resources COEs on the development and execution of all HR initiatives within their team. What Youll Be Doing Strategic human resources leadership to designated client groups on workforce strategy and all people related matters Coach leaders to cultivate strong leadership behaviors to drive a positive inclusive culture which provides exceptional employee experiences Manage the recruitment process in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and partner on the development of programs to ensure a solid ongoing talent pipeline Lead the employee engagement processes in partnership with the functional SLT, facilitating company wide surveys, results sharing, and ongoing action planning to enhance our culture Manage the performance management and talent review processes which include the annual performance review process, development planning, talent assessments, and succession planning Collaborate with Human Resources COEs to design and deploy robust workforce solutions and HR strategies aligned with business needs Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization Ensure HR operational excellence by optimizing processes, monitoring HR metrics and KPIs, and collaborating with relevant teams to address insights Drive continuous improvement by analyzing business market trends and workforce requirements and incorporate insights into talent management program development Lead and sponsor organizational change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption within client groups Collaborate on Change Management and Internal Communications on all HR initiatives Lead and participate in projects aligned to the short- and long-term human resources strategy What Youll Need To Be Successful 8-10 years of senior human resources experience (Experience supporting a Technology function an asset - If you have that PLEASE HIGHLIGHT it on your resume) Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field Advanced degree in HR and Professional Human Resources certification an asset Experience navigating large complex global matrix organizations an asset Strong strategic thinking and planning ability with the ability to balance short- and long-term initiatives Planning and organizational skills the ability to manage multiple competing priorities Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective trusting working relationships with key stakeholders Strong influencing and negotiation skills Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex problem solving Critical decision-making capability Project Management skills with the ability to manage change complexity Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and applicable laws and regulations About McCain Click Here to learn more about McCain and how we provide you with opportunities to make an impact that matters. Compensation Package : $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
