About Steve Maclean Public School Steve Maclean Public School is a K8 dualtrack school offering an English program for grades 18 and an Early French Immersion program for grades 18. Role Overview The Board seeks creative, dynamic and committed teachers who will support the Boards Strategic Plan by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Responsibilities Plan, implement and assess instruction that meets the diverse needs of students and promotes achievement and wellbeing. Collaborate with colleagues, families and community partners to create a learning environment that honors diversity and equity. Use technology, researchbased practices and the latest educational innovations to enhance student learning. Qualifications OCT Divisional Qualification: Primary. OCT Additional Qualification: FSL Part1. Experience, knowledge and education in special education or kindergarten are considered assets. Eligibility All Occasional Teachers may apply for LongTerm Occasional postings to which they are qualified.
