Overview Deliver solutions that transform how construction gets done. Our account managers serve as the go-to contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to make construction better by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and be given ownership to build a work schedule that best suits you and your customers. Youll make sales by maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high level customer consultation. The territory includes Cobourg, Belleville and Peterborough. The preferred candidate will reside in Cobourg. What You''ll Do Building relationships youll meet with customers as needed to capture the perfect business opportunity. You understand how to create value in accounts through long-term, profitable relationships. Time and Territory Management (TTM) create a daily schedule (including presence on jobsites and client offices) to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory. Be a Hilti Champion carry technical knowledge to present high-level customer consultations in your defined territory and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace. Tracking your progress utilize Salesforce to record all interactions needed to make a sale, as reporting is a key part of this role. What Youll Bring At least three years of outside sales experience preferably in an environment with set targets. Hands-on attitude you''ll demonstrate our tools to customers, use platforms such as Salesforce to keep track of everything, and collaborate with various departments. Maintain a valid drivers license company car provided; be ready to drive. Excellent time and territory management skills. Must be able to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds. Work a flexible and varied schedule. Participate in international business travel to the United States for initial training. Travel visa requirements are the responsibility of the applicant and should be in hand before applying. High School diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual in French & English is preferred but not required. Whats In It for You The salary range for this role takes into account factors including skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. The disclosed range is for this posting and may vary by location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $80,000 with bonus at target of $13,000-$18,000. Legal Notice Working Conditions: Combination of home office, meetings, driving a company vehicle to make sales calls at the customers office, and making jobsite visits will be expected. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Adverse Working Conditions Job requires walking on construction sites and uneven surfaces, may include climbing scaffolding, ladders, and stairs during all seasons of the year. Construction jobsites may expose Account Managers to excessively loud noises; ear protection is strongly encouraged and may be required on some jobsites. Safety Equipment Required Hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, and long pants for working jobsites; observe all safety regulations as required by Hilti, OSHA, and General Contractors.
