Role Overview & Responsibilities Support a team of experienced finance professionals in originating, structuring, and executing institutional financing transactions for privately owned companies; Perform detailed financial analysis, including historical and projected results, working capital, capital structure, and credit quality assessment; Review credit agreements and related documentation to analyze covenants and key financing terms; Assist in preparing pitch materials, confidential information memorandums, and other corporate finance documentation; Support diligence and marketing processes, including virtual data room management, tracking investor feedback, and responding to inquiries; Prepare internal briefing materials summarizing proposed financing structures and terms; Participate in meetings and discussions with client management and counterparties; Help build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients. Candidate Profile & Requirements Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in finance, business, engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline, with a demonstrated interest in finance or investing; Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in financial modeling and advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills (written and verbal); Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills; Willingness to work in person in downtown Calgary (Monday - Friday) and, as required, beyond standard business hours.
