About The Role ADM is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Calgary Flour Milla unionized production facility with a strong, experienced team of approximately 60 hourly employees and 10 salaried colleagues. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a driven operations professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is ready to elevate performance across safety, quality, production, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will play a key role in building long-term operational strategy while ensuring day-to-day excellence and youll lead a facility already in motion with an active business plan and strong opportunities for continuous improvement. What Youll Own & Lead Safety & Culture Champion a safety-first mindset and actively lead safety initiatives. Build and sustain a highly engaged safety culture across all teams Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental standards (EHS) Operational Excellence Direct day-to-day operations to deliver quality products, maximize yield, and hit production targets. Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability Align plant performance with regional and divisional goals People Leadership Build trust across the facility and lead with transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Recruit, coach, develop, and support your operations leadership team Lead performance development for salaried colleagues and help unlock growth potential Capital & Strategic Projects Oversee execution of capital projects, including planning, budgeting, and timeline management. Ensure capital discipline while supporting long-term site development and reliability Customer & Community Focus Respond to and resolve customer complaints in partnership with Commercial leadership. Maintain a strong and positive relationship within the local community Promote teamwork across Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with daily on-site engagement. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of plant operations and the ability to implement change confidently Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence Results-driven mindset and a passion for continuous improvement Strong decision-making skills using facts, data, and sound judgment Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 5+ years of operations management experience Strong safety track record and reputation for leading safety improvements Engineering degree (BA/BS) or related field preferred (or significant equivalent experience in plant operations leadership) Additional Requirements Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation Maintain full compliance with ADM safety and EHS requirements Must be legally authorized to work in Canada Why Join ADM?
