Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Tool Setup Technician to join their team. As a Tool Setup Technician, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Tool Setup Technician Location: Brampton, ON Pay Range: $32 - $33 per hour Shift: Rotating morning and afternoon shifts Whats the Job? Perform tooling and material changeovers efficiently and accurately. Troubleshoot tooling, press machines, and processing defects to minimize downtime. Provide technical expertise on machine processing and mold/tool set-ups to optimize performance. Support production needs by assisting with machine start-ups, lockouts, and shutdowns. Ensure production conforms to quality standards and customer specifications through diligent monitoring and adjustments. Whats Needed? Experience with tooling setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of mechanical adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance procedures. Ability to operate hoists, forklifts, and other lifting equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
