Director, Operational Excellence & Transformation Our client is looking for a senior leader to drive and sustain Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives across a global manufacturing network. This role will focus on improving operational performance and efficiency, reducing costs, optimizing processes, and strengthening quality, safety, and service to support continued business growth and market expansion. You will partner closely with senior OpEx and Continuous Improvement leaders to develop and execute strategies that unlock new value across global operations. This role plays a key part in embedding Lean and Continuous Improvement best practices and building longterm operational capability across the business. The focus includes defining optimal operational flow, ensuring strong adherence to KPIs and standards, leading largescale performance improvement programs, and delivering meaningful costreduction initiatives. Beyond execution, this role helps shape culture - encouraging actionoriented problem solving, Lean thinking, and continuous improvement at all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement Partner with manufacturing sites to plan and execute OpEx initiatives across all operational areas Identify, prioritize, and lead strategic improvement opportunities using data analytics and industry best practices Challenge the status quo to continuously improve ways of working Lead costcontrol initiatives that reduce operational expenses while maintaining or improving quality Design and implement process optimization initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and related methodologies Drive waste reduction and productivity improvements, including execution of multiyear OEE improvement plans Oversee key performance metrics (OEE, productivity, output, waste, etc.) and actively participate in performance review meetings Establish strong performancemanagement systems with clear targets and measurable outcomes Drive adoption of digital tools and automation to improve efficiency and visibility Build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Lead multitier operational performance meeting structures Support teams in identifying OpEx and COGS improvement opportunities and managing a portfolio of improvement projects Leadership & People Development Coach and mentor operations teams through handson support, regular checkins, and performance conversations Provide training and development to strengthen Lean Six Sigma and CI capabilities Influence and engage senior leaders across functions to drive alignment and results Promote a highperformance, safe, and inclusive work environment Act as a role model through collaboration, accountability, and resultsdriven leadership Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with all business ethics, quality, safety, environmental, and HR policies Perform additional duties as required to support operational goals Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Business, Science, or a related field Masters degree preferred, or equivalent leadership experience PMP certification preferred Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt strongly preferred Experience & Skills 810+ years leading complex OpEx and Continuous Improvement programs (global experience preferred) 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated people leadership Deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, CI methodologies, and operational KPIs (OEE, SMED, productivity, etc.) Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills with the ability to turn data into action Proven ability to influence without authority and build trust across teams Comfortable working in a fastpaced, changing environment Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is a plus Handson leadership style with a strong drive for results #J-18808-Ljbffr
