About The Team And Role Our advertising platform supports thousands of advertisers reaching over 300 million monthly unique visitors. As an engineer on the Ads product team, youll build dataintensive applications and systems to optimize campaigns, enable targeted audiences, and maintain a highquality ad experience. Responsibilities Drive projects from ideation to production using the full technology stack. Architect, design, and implement features for our missioncritical online ad platform at massive scale with datadriven iteration. Identify highimpact features that achieve engineering and revenue goals, and articulate the rationale behind your decisions. Collaborate with designers, fellow engineers, and data scientists to prototype, implement functionality, and analyze impact. Minimum Requirements Availability for meetings during Quoras coordination hours (MonFri: 9am3pm PT). 5+ years of fulltime product development experience building consumer or enterprise web products (internships excluded). 2+ years of industry experience in online advertising or a related area. Excellent proficiency with Python or a similar programming language. Knowledge of backend storage systems such as MySQL, HBase, Memcached, or Redis. Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience with largescale distributed systems. Preferred Requirements 1+ year of frontend experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Passion for Quora products.
