The role of CEO within the Curious portfolio is one of the most exciting opportunities we have. Portfolio CEOs are true owners of the businesses we acquire and partner with, and come with incredible autonomy and opportunity. They drive the future of each company hiring their team, setting product direction, growing the go to market and revenue functions, and much more, with support from the Curious Head Office team. This role is as the CEO of https://avenuehq.com/, a wonderful company in the real estate technology space. Avenue is a leading platform for real estate agents and brokerages, offering beautiful websites, automated email and social media marketing, CRM, and paid acquisition management that drives growth. Across thousands of customers in the US and Canada, Avenue has been a solid foundation and fantastic team based remotely across Canada. Core Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Include: Establish the vision for the business, outlining the steps to get there and pieces needed. Define and hire your ideal team to help deliver on the vision youve set forth. Partner with the Curious finance lead to establish financial projections for your business and strategically look for growth opportunities. Properly incentivize your team to deliver on the vision, carrying baton forward from the founders we work with. Who Were Looking For Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a startup environmentthis is a non-negotiable requirement. We expect this individual to be self-driven, self-motivated, and capable of charting their own path. Our ideal candidate has experience in revenue functions sales, marketing, success and has managed their own P&L and hired their own teams.
