Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Partnership Serve as a member of the Canadian Leadership Team, partnering with the General Manager to drive growth, organizational health, and people priorities. Actively contribute to the North America HRLT, shaping and implementing HR strategies that advance the One North America model and build consistency across countries. Align local HR plans to global and regional priorities, ensuring business and people strategies move in lockstep. Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, coaching them to strengthen leadership capability, engagement, and performance. Talent Management & Organizational Development Lead and embed Griffiths Talent Management and People Development frameworks, ensuring robust talent pipelines, thoughtful succession planning, and proactive development conversations. Partner with leaders to identify and grow top talent, ensuring diverse and highpotential individuals are prepared for future leadership roles. Facilitate organizational design and workforce planning efforts to ensure structure, roles, and capabilities align with business strategy. Partner with the North America Talent COE and HR peers to advance key regional initiatives such as Grow Talent, leadership development, and performance enablement. Employee Experience & Engagement Foster an inclusive, engaging culture that reflects Griffiths purpose and values. Lead the local engagement strategy, action planning, and recognition programs that drive connection and belonging. Partner with leaders and HR peers to strengthen the overall employee experience across the full lifecycle from onboarding to career progression. Manage complex employee relations matters with care, fairness, and consistency. Operational Excellence & HR Leadership Lead and develop the Canadian HR team, building strong capability, accountability, and collaboration. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and Griffith policies while supporting a consistent and equitable approach across North America. Leverage analytics and insights to assess organizational health and guide decisionmaking. Contribute to continuous improvement and simplification of HR processes through partnership with regional COEs (Talent, Rewards, Operations, Communications). Ideal Candidate A proven ability to lead through change and foster engagement across matrixed, regional structures. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required. 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing or food industry environment. Experience leading a country or businessunit HR function with demonstrated success influencing executive teams. Strong business acumen, systems thinking, and ability to connect people priorities to business outcomes. Demonstrated success in talent management, leadership development, and succession planning. Willingness to work onsite in Scarborough 4 days per week. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree or HR designation (CHRL/CHRE/SHRMSCP) is preferred.
