Tax Accountant - 6 Months Employment Type Contract Location MISSISSAUGA, Ontario Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: Our public accounting client, based in Mississauga, is seeking a motivated CPA-designated Accountant with public accounting experience to support compilation engagements and tax filings in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Candidates can expect to be working overtime on a regular basis, and will be compensated for these excess hours. Working directly with the Partners and clients, the Tax Accountant will have the following responsibilities: Prepare compilation engagements and corporate/personal tax filings Communicate directly with clients and the CRA to resolve accounting and tax matters Identify accounting and tax issues and provide practical, client-focused solutions Effectively utilize CaseWare, TaxPrep, and QuickBooks Support peak-period workloads, including overtime as required TMGCT Job Requirements: CPA designation Minimum 3+ years of public accounting experience Experience with Canadian tax regulations (CRA, GST/HST, T-slips) is required Strong communication and client-facing skills Hands-on experience with CaseWare, TaxPrep, and QuickBooks Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment Additional Information: This role is for a current vacancy Apply
