Become an Assistant or Associate Professor (2 Part-time positions) in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging / Radiology Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Universit de Montral is the only French-language institution of its kind in North America. Department of Clinical Sciences fosters the advancement of clinical knowledge through innovative research, with the goal of ensuring a quality education for future veterinarians and veterinary specialists. Day-to-day responsibilities Participate in didactic teaching of Diagnostic Imaging to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the continuing education of veterinarians; Participate in clinical teaching of the Diagnostic Imaging Service to DVM students and graduate students (including interns and residents); Develop research axes in the field of Diagnostic Imaging. Many opportunities for collaboration exist for new professors; Contribute to outreach activities in the discipline (publications, conferences, and others), including participation in various community services in the field; Contribute to the functioning of the Faculty and the University through participation in committees and working groups. Qualifications Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent; Have successfully completed a residency program in Diagnostic Imaging and be a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI); applications from board-eligible individuals, as well as residents in the process of graduation, will also be considered; Hold a M.Sc. or equivalent (relevant research achievements); Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality academic teaching, research, and clinical activities; Hold or be eligible to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the province of Quebec (Canada) issued by the Ordre des Mdecins vtrinaires du Qubec; Have adequate proficiency of the French language or be committed to learning it once hired, through the Universit de Montrals French language support program, in accordance with the Universit de Montral language policy.
