Overview Claims Supervisor at Gallagher Bassett lead a team of adjusters and support staff to deliver highquality service for commercial auto, property, and general liability claims in Toronto. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a group of adjusters, administrative and technical support staff. Drive adjuster hiring, development and performance to build a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Guide, develop and balance workload for direct reports and foster strong performance. Continuously improve team efficiency and quality using Gallagher technology. Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers professionally and proactively. Lead multiple priorities, recognize coaching opportunities and position team members for success. Qualifications High school diploma; 7+ years related claims experience required. Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces where claims are handled (or ability to obtain per local requirements). Bachelors degree preferred. Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to review work files, identify coaching opportunities and act to develop subordinates for advancement.
