Were seeking an Associate Veterinarian for maternity leave coverage starting June12025. Opportunity to stay on fulltime after the maternity term if its a good fit. About Us Weste Animal Hospital is an independently owned, small animal practice in Lawrencetown30minutes from Halifax/Dartmouth and minutes from Nova Scotias most beautiful beaches. Our recently renovated clinic is bright, spacious, and fully equipped. Five experienced veterinarians collaborate on surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, and dermatology. We value teamwork, mentorship, and a positive, fun workplace. The Role Start: June12026. Schedule: 4 days/week, no weekends. Hours: 9:00AM 5:00PM, with regular lunch breaks. Caseload: Wellness, medicine, surgery, dentistry, client education. Support: Experienced RVTs, assistants, and reception staff. Culture: Mentorship, continuing education, and strong worklife balance.
