OverviewNVA Canadas VT Practicum Program offers final-year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology and more. Practicums range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals. Eligible studentsthose enrolled in an accredited VT program in Canada and completing their final practicum in their final yearcan receive a stipend to help with travel expenses, allowing you to focus on learning without financial worries. Locations: two sites in Nova Scotia, with the option to split time between them.
