Group Insurance Benefits include disability insurance, dental insurance, prescription drugs, paramedical services, extended medical services and equipment.Work location: 10920 178 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1R7Responsibilities and Duties:Assess business needs to determine appropriate specifications for purchasesCreate comprehensive specifications for equipment, materials, and suppliesReview and analyze supplier quotations to select the most suitable optionsEvaluate and negotiate offers and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.Procure general and specialized equipment, materials and business services as per business needsEnsure compliance with company policies and budget requirementsEstablish and maintain effective communication with suppliers for ongoing procurement needsMonitor order and delivery schedules; proactively resolve delays, shortages, or quality issues with suppliersTrack and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of ordersCommunicate with clients and suppliers to identify and resolve issues related to procurement and deliveryMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important dataConduct supplier performance evaluations and develop improvement plansAssist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and proceduresPrepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance for management reviewQualifications and Skills:Must be able to communicate in EnglishCollege, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years1 year to less than 2 years of experienceWork conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Attention to detail; Large caseloadPersonal suitability: Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Excellent oral communication; Excellent written communication; Organized; Team player; Time management; Flexibility; Ability to multitaskIf this sounds like the perfect fit for you, then send your resume by email by email to or by fax: 780-455-5775No walk-ins and phone calls will be entertainedDurabuilt Windows & Doors Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
