Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**Location:** Vancouver, BC or Edmonton, AB**What You'll Be Doing*** Provide vision and strategies to maximize alternative fuels and raw materials, supporting CO roadmap targets.* Develop and implement sourcing, treatment, and delivery strategies with internal and external stakeholders.* Assess economical supply chains and competitive waste treatment options, including Waste-to-Energy systems.* Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, supply chain actors, and regulatory agencies.* Manage permitting constraints, market development, and contracting in coordination with Procurement teams.**What Are We Looking For*** Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Business, or related field; 5+ years in alternative fuels or recycling management.* Strong knowledge of sourcing, usage, and techno-economic evaluations; understanding of cement processes and environmental regulations.* Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and team-building skills; entrepreneurial mindset.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing situations.* Ability to address public meetings, communicate critical issues, and willingness to travel frequently.**Work Environment**This role involves collaboration across multiple teams and external partners, with frequent travel required.
