As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Land Administrator to join our team. Position Overview Reporting to TLR''s Vice President, the Land Administrator will play a key role in managing the administrative, regulatory, and documentation requirements associated with our land assets. This position supports land development, property operations, compliance, and crossborder land projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and experienced in land documentation and legal coordination. Key Responsibilities Land & Property Administration Represent TLR professionally with tenants, employees, vendors, and stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of land ownership, leases, easements, surface rights, mineral rights, tax assessments, and property files. Track regulatory obligations, renewals, deadlines, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate land transfers, titles, and registrations with government agencies in Canada and the U.S. Support due diligence and documentation for land acquisitions and dispositions. Conduct market research and analysis across multiple jurisdictions to support land strategy, acquisitions, disposals, leasing decisions and long-term planning. Contracts & Documentation Prepare, review, and organize contracts, agreements, and supporting documents (leases, licenses, service agreements, crossing agreements, etc.) in collaboration with TLR leadership and legal counsel. Maintain digital document libraries hosted on SharePoint and ensure secure, organized file management. Liaise with legal counsel, surveyors, brokers, and other external stakeholders. Stakeholder & Tenant Support Serve as a point of contact for tenants, renters, land users, and service providers. Support land managers and field teams by ensuring updated information about property boundaries, access rights, and operating restrictions. Support tenant administration by tracking lease terms, renewal dates and key milestones and by monitoring, collecting and maintaining tenant insurance certificates and related compliance documentation. Support TLR''s Facilities Managers by coordinating contract documentation, including tracking insurance certificates, safety documentation, and other required work certifications for contractors and service providers. Financial & Reporting Support Support TLR''s Finance department with tracking of property tax payments, lease payments, royalty statements, and cost allocations. Assist with mapping, GIS (Geographic Information System) requests, reports, and land status summaries for leadership. Required Experience in land administration, surface land, property management, or related field. Strong understanding of land documentation, agreements, and regulatory processes. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and document management software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Experience with land administration in both Canada and the U.S. Knowledge of industrial and agricultural land management, ranch operations, or industrial & rural property administration. Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) tools or mapping platforms. Capability to navigate these skills in different jurisdictions. Post-secondary education in Land Administration, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. Work Conditions & Requirements Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Valid Driver''s License with clean driving record. Valid passport and ability to travel throughout Western Canada, Colorado, and Texas for periodic meetings and site visits. IMPORTANT: The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory driver''s abstract and successfully complete a background check, including reference and credential verification, criminal record screening, security clearance requirements, social media, and bonding eligibility.
