[addthis tool=''addthis_inline_share_toolbox''] Location of Practice: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Language of Work: English Benefits: Benefits are the responsibility of the successful candidate Position Overview The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine, is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join the Division of Orthopedic Surgery. This parttime, feeforservice position supports orthopedic trauma services, including trauma operating room coverage, oncall responsibilities, and care of patients admitted to the Orthopedic Trauma Service. Clinical Responsibilities Provide orthopedic trauma surgical services, including operative and nonoperative fracture management Participate in trauma operating room coverage and orthopedic trauma call Provide inpatient care on the Orthopedic Trauma Ward Assess and manage thirdparty trauma patients presenting to the Orthopedic Trauma Service Collaborate with trauma services, emergency medicine, anesthesia, nursing, and allied health teams Job Qualifications Qualifications / Requirements Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Orthopedic Surgery (RCPSC) and fellowship training in Trauma and Acute Care surgery. Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
